Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) is seeking input in consideration of listing the Darkblotched Rockfish as “Special Concern” under the Species at Risk Act (SARA).

Darkblotched Rockfish (Sebastes crameri) has been recently assessed by the Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada (COSEWIC) as being of “Special Concern.”

For more information or to submit comments on its potential SARA listing, please seehttp://www.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/saraconsultations. Comments due by November 30, 2011.
